Step 1: Prep and Detail
Our team will carefully mask and tape off the job site to protect your furniture and other belongings. We will then vacuum and sweep the floors to remove any loose debris. Any cracks or gaps will be patched and filled, and worn areas will be restored to their original color (if necessary).
Step 2: Cleaning
The next step is to thoroughly clean the floors and floor trim. We will use a special buffer to draw dirt from the pores of the wood. Any contaminants will then be removed, and the floors will be allowed to dry completely.
Step 3: Apply Finish
The first coat of finish is a sealer that will protect the wood and prevent stains from penetrating. After the sealer has dried, we will burnish the floors to remove any grain raise. The final coat of finish is our proprietary N-Hance finish, which is durable and long-lasting.
Step 4: Inspection
Once the finish has dried, we will inspect the final job to ensure your satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied, we will make any necessary adjustments.
Step 5: In-Home Maintenance
When your floor refinishing is complete, you will receive final care instructions and a leave-behind maintenance kit with instructions and tools to care for your newly refinished floors.
