We remove dust and debris on and around the cabinets. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To ensure the area is completely dust-free, we also remove and clean air vents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns has-2-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column column13 is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column column23 is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading orange-header-small has-text-color\" id=\"mce_23\" style=\"color:#325c77\">Step 3: Apply Finish<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We \u201cremove the grain raise\u201d which simply means making the wood smoother, and removing contaminants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Next, a sealer is applied.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhance.com\/rdsi\/cabinets\/color-change\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"19\">color change<\/a>, we spray 3 to 5 coats of stain on each piece. (With&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhance.com\/rdsi\/cabinets\/color-shift\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"21\">color shift<\/a>&nbsp;jobs, color coats are applied by hand.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cabinets are then dried (often with a fan).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We polish the cabinets before adding a finish.
