A few years ago we purchased a smaller home than the one we had raised our children. The small kitchen took a lot of getting use to. A major problem was the blind corner cabinet. My wife, and sometimes myself, hand to sit on the floor and pull everything out of the shelves to reach the blind corner. This meant crawling part way in to the cabinet. A number of places would sell a "cloud" shelf that would pullout and move around the opening making the objects from the back of the blind corner to the front so it could be retrieved without sitting on the floor. Problem. Whereas several places sold such a shelf no one was willing to install a retrofit. They were only willing to do a complete remodel. Remodel a two year old kitchen? We were not looking to spend that much on our project. Then we found N-hance. We explained our problem and the owner understood. He came out listened to our dilemma, took the needed measurements and in a couple of days we had a reasonable bid. It took a week or ten day for the items to come in and the owner and his son did the install. The new shelves glide so smoothly, even with heavy pots and pans. And no more sitting on the floor. We are so pleased with the work Jesse and his son Harlan did. He made making meals so much easier.

Jesse removed the old high gloss finish and applied a beautiful satin finish to our old walnut table. Love it!

Very professional and trustworthy company!

Jesse and his crew stripped and refinished my very hard hickory wood flooring, some of which had been damaged by a failed ice maker. The result is beautiful. The crew was professional and courteous while we continued to live in our house during the renovation. It took longer than the time that was scheduled due to the factory finish that was on the wood and the hardness of the hickory, but we were kept up to date every day on progress. Jesse did a great job of refinishing our facilities conference room table. N-Hance refinished four pieces of 1950's furniture for me - solid and well made pieces (which I love) but with a dated and worn mahogany finish (which I truly hated). I worked with Jesse and he did an absolutely stellar job on our floors despite some hurdles. We have an outdated electrical system in our 1950's home, this caused issues with his teams machines. They persevered and the floors turned out wonderful. We also had two dogs that they had to work around and Jesse and his team were very compassionate and understanding. The pricing for the floors, I felt were spot on for the quality. I wanted to give it some time before I wrote my review to make sure that the floors held up, they've been great! I can say without a doubt that I'll be calling up Jesse at N-Hance for my next project once we get our electrical up to speed!

He did a great job, I was so frustrated with the new engeniered hard wood floor that it had marks all over from a previus floor cleaner that I used that damaged it. N-Hance of Ames came and clean it, Now it looks new with natural mate finish again.

We had Jesse look at several doors from bedrooms and closets to see what could be done with them. They are very old and had several layers of paint on them. We had tried to strip them ourselves and it was painful! We contacted Jesse to see what he thought could be done with the doors and he recommended painting them. We were skeptical, why add more paint! But the end result was FABULOUS, we are so pleased with the outcome and he was so quick and easy to work with. Pricing was very fair and we can't wait to give him more projects as we continue to remodel our 1914 farm house.
