With this UV technology, processes that would have typically taken hours to complete or cure can now be done in seconds. At N-Hance of Central Coast, we are proud to use UV technology in the form of Lightspeed, which cures our customers’ cabinets for a faster and better-quality finish.
Previously, these rock-hard finishes were only available on new cabinets from a factory. Now, thanks to Lightspeed, you can get the best of all worlds: cabinets that look like new, stand strong in demanding kitchen environments, and also cost less than traditional cabinet refinishing.
How Does Lightspeed Work?
After your cabinets have been refinished, we will complete the process by applying the final top coat and using our Lightspeed system. This will trigger faster curing thanks to the UV wavelengths it emits. Our products also contain photoinitiators that respond to this UV light and begin to cure instantly. This is quite different from heat or thermal oxygen curing, which is how traditional cabinet refinishers often cure cabinets.
This can be compared to the more traditional approach to curing, which can take up to two weeks to be able to fully use your kitchen cabinets once they are refinished. If you find that you have any build-up for oil and grease, then use a mild dish soap and water combination and let it sit on the surface for up to one minute. After, wipe gently with a cloth.
