Now that the kids are back in school it is time to get organized. Whether they are in Jerry Thomas Elementary School, Independence or Jupiter High School. Tackle each room one-by-one. Not only will your house be cleaner and more organized, but you will feel a sense of accomplishment. N-Hance Wood Renewal here in Jupiter – Tequesta has some tips and tricks to make this easier.
“I’ve been organizing my home every fall for years. When the kids are in school it is easier since I can concentrate on it without distractions. Plus when they got home I felt like I could give them all my attention.” said Patrick Hagerty], owner of N-Hance® Wood Renewal of South Florida. “If more homeowners would take the time to organize in the fall their home would be perfect for the holiday season coming up. Plus they can call us and have us make their cabinets or floors look new again”. Switching from old boxes to bins this season will help you stay organized in the future.
A few tips on the best way to start this project is to pick a room and go for it. Go through the entire room and remove anything that doesn’t belong. To be a step ahead make sure you put it away in the room you take it to. Once you have done this, it is time to organize. Look through every drawer, cabinet and closet. Are there duplicates? Do you use or need everything? If not, you can always sell these items, or you can donate the items to the Jupiter Medical Center Thrift Take the items out and take a slightly damp cloth and wipe out drawers and cabinets. Once dry put everything back in organized. Do a deep clean on the rest of the room and move on to the next room. Here in Jupiter I like to start in the garage.
