It was a pleasure to work with James and Matt of NHance. They were very professional and cared about me and my search for a color that was right for me. Matt painted my cabinets the perfect rich dark blue and I love them! I recommend NHance because of the professionalism, great customer service and excellent quality of work I received from them.

James and Matt did a superb job of transforming my kitchen by painting the wood stained cabinets. They perfectly matched the color I picked and the result is all I could have hoped for. James was quick to respond to my first outreach, even though it was a weekend! James presented a quote and then a time to do the painting in very short order. Matt removed all of the doors, prepared the site for painting the frames, and then painted. He meticulously prepped the kitchen to protect everything not being painted. Within 2 days the kitchen cabinet frames were painted and the kitchen restored to working order. Another couple of days and James returned with the doors and the new hardware I requested and hung the cabinet doors and drawer fronts. The entire kitchen was spotless and odorless after the job was complete. Truly excellent work from extremely courteous and helpful professionals! I highly recommend using NHance of Richmond if you want to transform the look of your kitchen!

I recently had my Kitchen cabinets refaced by NHance of Richmond and it was excellently done. I am very pleased!!

I have done extensive home remodeling projects over the years, including installing cabinets, countertops and hardware, but being as picky as I am, I didn't want to even attempt refinishing cabinets myself. I say this because it is something that is very easy to mess up, and once it is messed up, it is hard to undo the damage. Thankfully I found N-Hance. James did a great job explaining the process and what could be done and what might present a challenge. Mat was the lead tech on the project, and did outstanding work. The kitchen looks like new for a fraction of what new cabinets would have cost, and the soft close hinges really make a difference. The only thing we weren't able to get done were soft close drawer slides, but James mentioned he would be in touch to get us scheduled once he finds a solution that works for our drawers. I will post pictures once I finish with a few punch-list items.

N-Hance painted our old cabinets as well as installed new doors and drawers. It feels like we have all new cabinets and we absolutely love the new look!

We had Nhance re-do our cabinets right before the holiday. As scary as that sounds, it was an amazingly successful experience! Brian, the sales rep, proposed his solution to our issues, and we went with it. We had stained wooden cabinets that looked dated. He had samples of the new maple doors and drawers so we could see the quality. Within the week, the team showed up to do measurements and make additional suggestions. They suggested someone to modify our granite to accommodate a larger sink -- and we were able to make an upgrade to a bigger sink. We had one of those "desks" under the phone that were so popular in the 80's/90's -- that no one used as a desk. We had them destruct it, replace it with a more efficient cabinet configuration, and laid a new, contrasting piece of granite, to have a statement piece in the kitchen -- a coffee bar. On the Monday promised, Jim, Matt and Michael came and removed drawers and doors we were replacing along with the hardware, since we were re-using it. The next day Matt came early and spent the entire day taping and masking EVERYTHING to make sure there'd be no overspray. Matt and Michael did the degreasing/sanding process and applied primer coats and the mutiple coats of our chosen color, along with a sealer. Then, all of the plastic drop cloths and masking disappeared from the floors, ceilings and trims. The fourth day was an "off" day to let the paint cure. Then on Friday our new doors and drawers appeared, all having been painted in the shop. Michael and Matt took the day to install the doors, drawers, slides and hardware. They never stopped! The kitchen looks much brighter. We never thought the stained cabinets darkened the room, since it had a bright exposure, but the light gray color made a world of difference! We would heartily recommend Jimbo, Brian and the guys to do your remodel. Each of them was professional and very helpful, responsive to our questions and needs. I was initially shocked at the price of painting cabinets, but after a few quotes that did range drastically, I found N-Hance. Brian was extremely helpful in guiding me to a better understanding of their process and the quality measures they take to ensure a great outcome. He was very thorough in pointing out potential problem areas and what they would do to avoid issues. After watching most of the videos on the N-Hance website, and reading countless reviews, we made the decision to go with N-Hance and could not be any happier. Mat and Michael were great. From start to finish everything has been done Professionally and to my satisfaction

We began this journey knowing little about kitchen renovation. We knew we wanted refaced cabinets and granite countertops along with a backsplash. The team at NHance were a dream to work with. Brian and James helped us decide what to do based on the look we wanted. They helped us choose cabinet doors and explained the whole process. Matt and Travis did a wonderful job prepping and painting the outer edges of the cabinet frames. They took care to protect our property and were professional and friendly in their communication with us. James came by each day to oversee the work being done and answered any questions we had. When the cabinet doors and new drawers arrived we were over the moon! We couldn’t have imagined how good the doors and drawers would look. The job of installing and painting was finished in a couple of days. When James installed our new sink and fixtures, he took great care to do it right, double checking everything. The granite we chose looks amazing and the installation was very easy. The back splash is scheduled to be installed next week. We have no doubt it will be done beautifully. Brian, I want to thank your team for the wonderful renovation just completed on our kitchen. We can’t say enough about all the hard work that Scott, James (Jimbo), Brian, Travis, Matt, Austin and Zach did to turn an early 80’s dated country kitchen into an updated and functional modern workspace. After contacting your company, Scott called within a few hours to discuss our new kitchen. He scheduled to come to the house and meet with my fiancé and I a couple of days later. Scott and James came to the house and looked at the dated floor plan and then asked what was ‘our vision’. We had already thought out the vision prior to their visit. Our vision was developed about two and a half years earlier, but thanks to COVID and rising lumber costs that vision was shelved. Scott and James listened to our ideas and even gave needed advice and changes that would better fit our overall final project. Scott and James made us feel at ease, like we had known them for years. That feeling of being comfortable with them, helped us to decide to get the kitchen renovated. Scott sent the cost estimate for the work that we were looking to have done and we were quite happy with the pricing and asked when they could start on this major project. Scott said that it would be soon, and ideas started to fly back and forth between Scott, James, Debbie (fiancé) and myself. It wasn’t long before we had the new island, wall cabinet/coffee area, and the other components all finalized. That was the easiest design process I have ever gone through. James then brought his team to the house and started demo and deciding what needed to be worked on first and so on. Once the components were in place, colors chosen, and all finalized, the manual labor started to turn ‘our vision’ into a reality! Scott kept us apprised of what to expected and when to expected through out the renovation. James, Brian, Travis and Matt all made fast work getting the new wall unit and island in place. Then the trim and crown molding were installed. Special shout out to Brian for figuring out a way to tie the crown molding from the bay window into the cabinets. Not only was a custom sized block of wood a corner piece to tie the two segments together, but it also added a unique feature that was simple yet elegant at the same time. (Thanks Brian) Before we knew it our quartz countertops were in, and the kitchen was really taking on ‘our vision’. Travis and Matt worked to make sure the kitchen was isolated from the rest of the house. Even though it looked like Dexter was going to come visit, the cabinets were ready for paint. The painting was done on the inside and outside of the existing cabinets so well that it looked like we had new cabinet boxes installed. The wall unit and island paint looked just as fabulous. ‘Our vision’ was nearly complete. Hardware, doors and drawers finished the cabinet construction. Austin and Zach came in and installed the new subway tile backsplash and tied the entire project together. Other than a few lighting updates that we are having done, ‘our vision’ was exactly how we wanted our kitchen to look. Thank you to your team and all the people at Nhance for the greatest renovation experience we could have had. We are in love with our new kitchen and feel that we made some new friends with our project! Don’t worry, it won’t end with the kitchen, we are already talking about updating the office/study room with a large bookcase wall unit and shelving. We recently contacted N-Hance of Richmond to have our twenty-year old oak kitchen cabinets refinished for an updated look. We experienced nothing but extremely professional, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly staff from the initial contact for a work order estimate to inspecting the completed beautifully refinished kitchen cabinets. Each staff member we encountered (Scott, James, Travis, Brian and Matt - we hope we didnt forget a name!) went above and beyond to ensure that our kitchen cabinet refinishing experience met our expectations. On a 1-10 scale the N-Hance staff were a 12 for quality of work, timeliness and neatness. We now have a WOW kitchen with BEAUTIFULLY painted cabinets and new hardware. The kitchen transformation is amazing. Without hesitation we highly recommend N-Hance and will be scheduling future work with them for our home upgrade projects. THANK YOU N-HANCE!!

Team: Scott, James, Travis, Matthew, Brian were all professional and courteous. Always showed up on time, replied to questions promptly via text or phone calls. Project: Custom color change on kitchen cabinets that were 18 years old - 24 doors and 9 drawers. Dark cabinets were painted to a custom white color, no wood grain shows and finish is exactly what I wanted, very smooth. Soft close door hinges replaced existing hinges. Granite seam recaulked around existing granite counter tops. Undercounter lighting replaced with new LED lighting. Timeline: Process was completed within 5 days as promised. Issues: No issues that N-Hance created. I had 2 cabinet doors that had issues that a previous handyman had created with some shoddy work. N-Hance discussed what they could or could not improve on prior to taking on job.

I am pleasantly stunned by the beautiful work that N-Hance Wood Refinishing of Richmond did. At the very beginning, we were amazed by the effective organizational structure and project management was and how well that team worked with the operations team. We were given updates on a continual basis, and the milestone schedule that the management team developed was executed according to plan. The actual work accomplished was that only of a master craftsman—those guys who executed the plan and did the actual work should be commended. Plus, the guys were extremely pleasant, treated the property as though it was theirs, and were polite and friendly! Our cabinets look brand new. With our large kitchen, we would have paid approximately $60,000 to replace them with the same quality we have today. Rather, having N-Hance Wood Refinishing refinish the cabinets, we paid well under $8,000! For quality, timeliness, efficient project management, and professionalism, that was a steal! They are also coordinating our quartz countertop installation and backsplash, too! I’m confident that N-Hance will meet the delivery date early!

Excellent experience

What a transformation! It's hard to put into words how much better our kitchen looks. We should have done this years ago. This process modernized our entire first floor... If you are thinking about painting or replacing those kitchen cabinets, consider nHance first! We added in the upgraded fixtures and soft close drawers per recommendation of the owner...those are also well worth it.

We just want to thank N-Hance for a job well done! Our cabinets were very much needed for a beautification. N-Hance definitely enhanced our kitchen. While we are getting ready to put our house on the market, I wish we would have done this much sooner. Our kitchen turned out beautiful and has become more functional with the added addition of some glide-out drawers. James was stellar on his knowledge from beginning to end on the entire process. Refacing all cabinets

After reading the many positive reviews, we decided to go with N-Hance to re-do our kitchen cabinets. From the very beginning, both Matt and James were very responsive and honest. They showed up on time and completed the job on the day they stated. The cabinets look fantastic. We could not be more pleased. My only suggestion would be to empty your cabinets. It is not necessary, but I did have some dust on the top items that I had left in there. If you are considering making changes to your cabinets, please give these honest and dependable men a call. Matt was very professional and did a great job. We had the classic renewal on our oak cabinets and were pleased with NHance's service. 4 stars because I had been under the impression that they would touch up the stain in worn areas before applying the clear coat, but instead they just cleaned and coated.

Well we went to the home show a couple weeks ago and got some information on cabinet refinishing from 2 of the contractors that were there. I called the other contractor who didn’t return my calls and emails. Then I called NHANCE. That should of been my first call , I emailed Terry he responded that morning made an appointment to get an estimate. Terry showed up ON TIME something other contractors could care less. Before he left we booked the job. James came the next day ON TIME to go over the process.Matt was the next one to show up ON TIME to remove the doors to take to the shop. Tuesday Matt returned to work on the cabinets ON TIME.Thursday Matt returned with all our doors. They looked like they were new , my wife was ecstatic with them. Don’t waste your time with other contractor cabinet refinishers call NHANCE first you will not be disappointed.

Matt (taping and prep), Bryan ( the”fixer”), Travis (painter) and James ( measuring and project coordinator) did a wonderful job on the refacing of my kitchen cabinets. All were friendly and professional. Each took time to explain the process and answered any questions from beginning to end. James went out of his way to help with handles, cabinet door style and decor. They took an 80’s melamine oak kitchen into the millennium !

A very pleasant experience and NHance did a fabulous job! Very prompt from the very first contact thru loading a video to the website, very quick response to call back to ask questions and schedule an appt to get a quote. Terry was very knowledgeable and cover everything thoroughly and answered all questions. After receiving several estimates we decided we really wanted to work with NHance and we’re not disappointed! N-Hance Wood Refinishing just completed refinishing the cabinets in our kitchen and we are extremely pleased and delighted with the results! I am very pleased with N-Hance and the total experience. The crew showed up on time, were very polite, and finished the job in 5 days. My 30-year-old kitchen now looks new and cost a fraction of the price of new cabinets. The only reason for less than 5 stars was some miscommunication between sales and the crew. Overall, they did a very good job and I would definitely recommend N-Hance.

The N-Hance team did an excellent job on our kitchen. Terry came out and gave me a fair price for the kitchen update. James and his crew (Travis, Mat and AJ) worked hard to seal the kitchen up for painting and did a fantastic job painting the kitchen, trim and cabinet doors. The team asked us questions and helped us to make more informative decisions on the kitchen before they started the job. Travis, Mat and James were very polite and worked very hard to make sure our kitchen was done correctly. We have a few follow-up items left to do but I have all confidence that it will be completed once the items come from the mill. N-Hance did a great job with the remodeling of our kitchen cabinets. They set a start date and end date at the onset of the contract and theY effieienty met those deadlines. The two installers were tremendous guys and a pleasure to meet. Hats off to them they worked their butts off. The workmanship was top notch and we are very pleased with the job. They where on time, very professional, could not believe how fast they had my kitchen painted, less then a week. They gave me great suggestions and always cleaned up at the end of the day. I was so happy to find a company that could refinish my vintage cherry cabinets. N-Hance explained multiple options (including painting vs refinishing). I went with the basic refinishing option which gave my cabinets a great refresh while keeping the warmth of the natural wood. Brian and Matthew were great. They kept me informed through the process and finished on time - just as promised.

The team that came out were great! First off they were able to accommodate my schedule and that was the first sign of what was to come. They did the work as planned and even kept me updated the while they were working on the cabinets. Told me what was happening where I asked or not. That was great communication. The before was dark and not flowing well with colors of counter tops and existing floors. Picked an awesome white that pulled the colors of floors, counter tops and backsplash. And Bam! What a Wow Factor in the kitchen. Looks like a total remodel. Great job!
