This customer wanted a more modern looking stylish kitchen without the cost and disruption from a complete tear out install of all new cabinets. They liked the layout of the kitchen but not the look and functionality of it. They chose to go with a modern shaker door style with the clean lines of the slab drawer fronts. The main cabinets were finished in Benjamin Moore Super White and the island was finished in Sherwin Williams Sea Serpent. To dress the kitchen up and take it to the next level, they added large cove crown molding and a beautiful new wood hood vent.

These cabinets were laminate doors that were over twenty years old and way out of style. So we updated them to new maple wood shaker doors finished in Behr Pewter Mug and finished the cabinet boxes to match. This along with Blum slow close hinges and drawer glides gives them a brand new kitchen without all the headache and disruption to their life from a complete demo of the old kitchen boxes.

This customer wanted to have more storage in their kitchen along with an updated look. So we added another layer of cabinets to their upper cabinets to take them up to the ceiling. Upgraded the doors to new maple-raised panel doors as well as some glass doors and crown molding to finish off the look of the second row of cabinets. Then everything was finished in N-Hance Vapor Frost.

This job was upgraded with new maple wood shaker doors finished in N-Hance Pure White. We also modified the sink cabinet to fit the beautiful new farm sink and countertops. This was all done in just a few days to minimize the customers’ downtime.

Square panel doors are one of the most requested styles for cabinet door replacement in Charleston, especially in the Lowcountry’s coastal and transitional style homes. Shaker style doors are just as popular and tend to suit everything from historic downtown Charleston homes to newer builds out in Summerville and Mount Pleasant. That said, the best door style is the one that fits your kitchen and your taste, whether it happens to be trending or not.
Whites, grays, blues, and two toned combinations are among the most requested colors for cabinet door replacement in the Charleston area, and it’s easy to see why given how well those tones play off natural light in coastal homes. Each of those colors comes in a wide range of shades, and our team can color match any sample you bring us, whether it’s a paint chip, a fabric swatch, or a photo of a kitchen you love. If you’re not sure where to start, we’ll walk through your kitchen with you, taking into account the size of the space and how much natural light it gets, along with the overall look you’re going for, so we can recommend a color that fits your home.
Preparation is simple. Clear off your counters, the tops of your cabinets, and the inside of your cabinet doors and drawers, and our Charleston based technicians will handle the rest. Thanks to our Lightspeed® Nano UV system, your cabinets cure in seconds rather than days, so your kitchen is ready to use again as soon as we finish the job.
Yes. Soft close hinges are one of the most common upgrades we install for Charleston area homeowners, and we can pair them with new knobs, pulls, and other custom touches to round out the look of your kitchen.
We can order replacement drawers custom built to fit your existing cabinet boxes. That way your finished project looks cohesive from top to bottom, with no mismatched pieces standing out in your Charleston kitchen.
It’s not a project most homeowners can tackle on their own. Our local Charleston team brings the training and hands on experience needed to get the results you’re picturing for your kitchen.
