After_NHance_Refacing

To get absolutely beautiful results like these, there is a process that must be followed. There are numerous contractors out there that will cut corners, which at first looks ok, but eventually you will have peeling, chipping, fading, and much worse. We don’t just specialize in painting cabinets. We specialize in prepping the cabinet surfaces so that the primer, paint, and finish we apply will last for years to come. Does this take longer than the people who can get it done in one day? Absolutely. But we can usually complete your kitchen in only 3-4 days, depending on the size, and you won’t have to worry about your finish when we are done.

In addition to doing it right the first time, we also back our product with exceptional customer service. If you ever do have a problem, you call our office, and we will schedule someone to come fix the issue, usually within 72 hours. This helps eliminate the worry that many people talk about with painted cabinets. So, in this blog, we are going to tell you how we prep the surface of your cabinets.

  • First we clean the surface to remove any debris such as grease, dirt, dust, or wax
  • As we are cleaning the surface, we de-gloss the surface so that we get the best adhesion
  • Next we lightly sand the surface to further increase adhesion
    • Doing a de-gloss and sand process ensures both a chemical and mechanical bond
  • Now that the surface is ready, we prep the home for spraying our products to ensure no overspray or paint dust ends up where it should not
  • Next we spray primer, our special Opaque paint, and our UV Nano Cure Finish
  • We then cure the finish with our UV Light Machine
  • Finally, we remove all prep materials, clean-up our mess, and leave your home in great shape
  • The same prep and paint process is then done to your doors in our shop
