This floor needed more than a refinish. The client was extending the space, which meant new boards had to be laced in and matched to what was already there. Once the extension was in place, we sanded the entire floor as one, blending the new and existing sections until the addition was completely undetectable. The client also wanted to move away from the previous stain and let the wood speak for itself. We stripped the old color back to a fully natural look, then applied a seal coat followed by three layers of protective finish. The floors were fully cured and ready to walk on as soon as we packed up.
